A mother and her 3-year-old son were saved from a dangerous situation thanks to the quick actions of a UPS driver who noticed something unusual. Authorities say James Jordan, the husband and father, confined his young son for many hours without food or water while subjecting his wife to severe abuse.
Jordan took away her phone to stop her from calling for help and even dragged her back into the house when she tried to escape. Desperate for a way out, the woman came up with a bold plan and prayed someone would notice.
When a UPS driver arrived to collect a package, Jordan stood nearby with a gun, warning her to stay quiet. Pretending everything was normal, she handed the driver the parcel — but she had secretly written “contact 911” on the box.
