Newly surfaced footage from the tragic shooting of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025, appears to show a figure sprinting across the rooftop of the Losee Center shortly after the fatal shot. Captured by student Tanner Maxwell, the video depicts an individual dressed in dark clothing moving swiftly on the roof, approximately 140 yards from the shooting site. This footage has been analyzed by The Washington Post and is being used by authorities to track the suspect’s movements The Washington Post.
Investigators have also recovered a high-powered bolt-action rifle believed to be the weapon used in the attack. The FBI is offering a $100,000 reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of the shooter, who remains at large KOAT.
