The FBI has released vital surveillance footage of a person of interest in the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University. The clip shows a suspect dressed in all dark clothing fleeing from a rooftop after gunfire rang out during the event. Footage captures the individual jumping from the roof and running toward a nearby wooded area.
Authorities believe the shooter used a bolt-action rifle, found wrapped in a towel in the woods near the campus. Several pieces of evidence were collected, including a footwear impression, palm print, and forearm prints.
The FBI has also issued images of another person of interest — wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses, and dark clothes — asking the public for help identifying him. A reward of \$100,000 is being offered for information leading to the suspect’s arrest.
With the suspect still at large, law enforcement continues to review video and tip submissions. The public is urged to come forward with any relevant information, including photos or videos, to aid in bringing the individual to justice.
