On a recent live segment, Fox News host Greg Gutfeld erupted at his co-host Jessica Tarlov during a heated discussion about the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. Gutfeld angrily rejected Tarlov’s suggestion that political violence is happening on both sides. He insisted that Kirk’s assassination was a uniquely left-wing act, hitting back when Tarlov cited another instance of political violence against a Democratic lawmaker.
Tarlov pushed back, arguing that political violence is not exclusive to one side and emphasized the need for evidence before assigning blame. But Gutfeld snapped, “Don’t play that bulls**t with me,” saying the “both-sides” narrative was invalid in this case. He accused those making comparisons of rationalizing or minimizing Kirk’s death.
The argument amplified a deeper tension in public discourse over how to interpret political violence. With scant motive officially confirmed, emotions remain raw, and the debate over blame, ideology, and accountability shows no signs of cooling down.
