The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call at approximately 3:57 a.m., and Bernard was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities identified her through fingerprint records, and while an autopsy was conducted, the cause of death remains undetermined, with toxicology results pending.
Born on May 26, 1959, in Gladewater, Texas, Bernard began her acting career in the early 1980s. She gained recognition with roles in Diva (1981), Whiz Kids (1983), and The Facts of Life (1984). Her most notable role was as Terry Brock on General Hospital, appearing in 145 episodes from 1984 to 1990. After retiring from acting, Bernard led a private life in San Jacinto.
