A pack of hyenas surrounded a young elephant — helpless and moments from attack — but what happened next stunned everyone. The baby elephant had just learned to stand. His herd was calmly traveling across the savanna, the matriarch leading the way and his mother close behind, when curiosity led him astray to chase a butterfly.
