Anna, head chef at a renowned city restaurant, had always been admired for her kindness and talent. When she discovered she was pregnant, her joy was boundless. But her wealthy husband reacted coldly, worried about his failing business. Over time, he grew distant and indifferent, ignoring Anna’s health and happiness.
One evening, after the restaurant closed, he appeared to “drive his pregnant wife home.” Suddenly, he shoved Anna into the large walk-in refrigerator, slamming the door. Freezing and terrified, Anna screamed and pleaded, but no one could hear her. The shock triggered premature contractions, and she collapsed on the floor, clutching her stomach.
Unbeknownst to him, a security guard noticed the building was not empty. Investigating, he found Anna barely conscious in the refrigerator and immediately called an ambulance. She was rushed to the hospital, where she gave birth prematurely, but her baby survived.
Anna revealed everything to the police. Her husband was arrested and confessed he had planned to inherit her property due to debts, never imagining the situation would escalate. Now, he’s imprisoned, while Anna cradles her son, whispering every night: “I survived because of you.”
