Former Child Star From ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,’ Passed Away At 42

Floyd Roger Myers Jr., best known for playing young Will Smith in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, has passed away at 42 after years of battling heart issues. According to TMZ, Myers suffered a fatal heart attack at his home in Maryland on Wednesday morning. His mother, Renee Trice, confirmed the news, revealing she had spoken to him the night before. She told the New York Post that her son had endured three heart attacks in the past three years.

Myers rose to fame in 1992 and later portrayed Marlon Jackson in The Jacksons: An American Dream, alongside Angela Bassett and Vanessa Williams. His final acting role was in 2000 on Young Americans. In recent years, he co-founded The Fellowship Men’s Group, an organization devoted to helping men “lead, heal, and thrive.” Myers is survived by his four children.
