Newly released emails from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate, turned over to Congress on Wednesday, reveal that Epstein severed ties with Bill Clinton after accusing the former president of contradicting himself. The House Oversight Committee obtained the messages, which also show former Obama White House counsel Kathryn Ruemmler maintained a notably friendly rapport with Epstein, frequently discussing politics ahead of the 2016 election.
In a January 23, 2016 email, Epstein claimed he distanced himself from Clinton after the former president insisted on two opposite statements within weeks. Clinton’s spokesperson dismissed the exchange, reiterating that Clinton had no knowledge of Epstein’s crimes and had not spoken to him in two decades.
Ruemmler, commenting on an unnamed individual once listed as a backup executor to Epstein’s estate, described the person as nearly psychopathic. Despite the alleged rift, Clinton appears in other emails among the 20,000 pages released, including a proposed “men of the world” conference featuring several high-profile figures linked to Epstein.
Oh wow… this is the part nobody was ready for.
Jeffrey Epstein tells Kathryn Ruemmler:“You need to talk to boss.”
And here’s the million-dollar question:
Who was Kathryn Ruemmler’s boss at the time?
Barack Hussein Obama. pic.twitter.com/hnTOSTW9BA
