After three decades, woman comes forward as abrosexual

After more than three decades of questioning her identity, a woman has decided to openly share that she identifies as abrosexual. Throughout her life, she struggled to understand why her feelings of attraction changed over time. Some periods she felt drawn to men, other times to women, and occasionally she felt little or no attraction at all. Because of this, traditional labels never seemed to fully describe her experience, leaving her feeling confused and isolated for many years.

She often believed that something was wrong with her and kept her feelings private to avoid judgment or misunderstanding. It wasn’t until she learned about the term abrosexual—which describes a fluid and evolving sexual orientation—that her experiences finally made sense. Discovering this language helped her reframe her past, replacing confusion with self-acceptance and clarity.

By coming forward, she hopes to raise awareness about sexual fluidity and highlight the importance of inclusive language. Her story serves as a reminder that sexuality is not always fixed and that many people’s experiences fall outside traditional categories. She encourages others on similar journeys to be patient with themselves and to know they are not alone.
