A man has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, according to President Donald Trump. Trump said officials are “highly certain” the suspect is responsible but have not released his identity.
The suspect was reportedly turned in by someone close to him, though it’s unclear if he acted alone. Two people were initially detained after the shooting but released without charges.
