Jill Jacobson, beloved for her roles in Falcon Crest and Star Trek: The Next Generation, has passed away at 68 after battling a long-term illness. Her longtime friend Dan Harary confirmed she died on December 8 at Cedars-Sinai’s Culver West Health Center.
The Texas-born actress gained fame as Erin Jones on Falcon Crest, appearing in over 20 episodes, and also guest-starred on Star Trek: The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine. Beginning her career with the 1977 film Nurse Sherri, she later worked as an executive producer on projects such as The Circle and Mic Whore.
In September 2024, Jacobson revealed she had undergone more than two years of treatment for esophageal cancer, calling it “intense” and life-altering. Harary remembered her as a creative spirit deeply loved by family, friends, and her dogs, Benny and Kowalski. She will be profoundly missed.
