On a crisp morning in Dublin, Paddy O’Reilly was at the airport, ready for his flight to New York. As always, trouble found him before he even boarded. When the flight attendant asked for his boarding pass, Paddy searched frantically through his pockets, pulling out sunglasses, a sandwich, and even a rubber chicken — everything except the pass.
“Don’t panic,” he muttered to himself, then proudly handed the attendant… a lunch ticket for a chicken wrap. She stifled a laugh and gently returned it before giving him the real boarding pass.
Just before boarding, Paddy hurried back to ask, “Do I get peanuts on this flight?”
“Yes, sir,” she smiled.
“Are they magic? Someone in the pub told me peanuts get you upgraded!”
Once on the plane, Paddy struggled with his seatbelt, asked if 35,000 feet meant they were halfway to the moon, and devoured peanuts like they were treasure.
When the attendant offered him a drink, Paddy shook his head. “No thanks — I’m already feeling adventurous enough with these peanuts!”
And so, Paddy’s journey continued, filled with harmless confusion and plenty of laughs.
