Some of the stuff people post on Instagram is getting out of hand. At first glance the photos look fine, but once you really look, it’s obvious the filters are doing all the work.
We collected some of the most extreme examples of this “Instagram versus reality” trend. It’s not just angles or lighting, some of these are so edited they barely look human.
So as you scroll through the pictures, try not to just laugh at the edits. It’s also worth thinking about how this stuff messes with what we expect people to look like.
